Tell us how many treads are loose and send photos of the stairs and their supports. The quote can cover reattaching existing treads where suitable, with damaged timber or additional support repairs identified separately.
Bouncing sections and rotten support timber
Movement may involve more than the visible decking. We assess the affected area, lift boards where required and discuss replacing deteriorated support timber before reinstating suitable boards. The location of movement and access beneath the deck help define the work.

Can my existing boards be reused?
Suitable existing boards can be reinstated as part of an agreed repair. Boards that are rotten, split or damaged during removal may need replacement, which should be allowed for in the quote.
Is staining included?
Staining and painting are separate unless expressly included in your quote. Tell us if you want finishing work considered at the same time.
